Description: For this Halloween, Donovan was dressed as a murloc (we modified a Baby Style fish costume, adding murloc spines and spiky teeth), and Matt and Donovan went as Wash and Zoe (from Firefly and Serenity, respectively). Matt went as (spoiler!) post-impalement Wash, and attaching the foam spike took a great deal of effort. We both went to the Halloween contest at Neopets, and thence to lunch.
That evening, we went to the West Hollywood Halloween Carnavale, which closes down Santa Monica Blvd. from La Cienega to Doheny, and to which close to half a million people attend each year. Many interesting costumes were on display.
