Description: This week we had our solstice celebration at Monica's mom's house, where many presents were had by all. Donovan profoundly ignored his new basketball hoop until we spent some time trying to direct his attention to it. On Friday the 23rd, we took the car to get its 30,000 mile checkup, and while that was taking FIVE AND A HALF HOURS, we went to the nearby 3rd Street Promenade and finished up our Christmas shopping.
