Description: This is the UCLA School of Public Policy and Social Research 2004 graduation on Friday, June 18th. Monica had been going for a degree in Transportation Planning, but due to being pregnant and spending the entire month of May with bronchitis, she hadn't been able to finish her coursework. But they let her participate in the graduation anyway, because, well, grad students rarely finish all their work on time, so the place would have been half-empty if they'd excluded everyone who hadn't technically finished everything. :)
Afterward we went out for lunch at a restaurant called The Lobster, which is beside the Santa Monica Pier.
