Comments: They grouted and sealed the laundry area first, so we could wash clothes again. The original plan was to go with larger floor tiles, but it was very difficult to find what we wanted (no texture, matte finish). So we went with the $1/sq. ft. almost-white matte 6"x6" tiles from Glendale Tile, with little 1/2" bars of Fire Brick Daltile tossed in here and there for color. The bars match the edging we picked for the countertops.
